Forms In Large Print
There are not specific nationally-accepted rules for preparation of large print forms. However, those rules used for braille give excellent guidance. Specific rules govern the reformatting of print forms into braille. Layout of the braille form should follow the principals of the print document layout (basic order and arrangement) wherever possible. If familiarity with the exact layout of the print form is critical to the large print reader, one rendition of the form should be created which just has concept labels in different places on the page (name and address in the top left corner; Agency Use Only in the top right corner, etc.). Following pages should then list the information needed in each of the areas.
